Flores, RSC Support Eliminating Export-Import Bank

Press Releases · May 21, 2015

Washington -- Rep. Bill Flores (R-TX) announced the Republican Study Committee (RSC) would formally oppose any effort to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank. Heritage Action released the following statement from chief executive officer Michael A. Needham:

"Heritage Action applauds Chairman Flores and the RSC for their principled opposition to the Export-Import Bank. Conservatives are on the verge of delivering a major victory for hardworking Americans, who rightly believe politicians are only working for big government special interests. That is about to change, and on July 1, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton will stand alone, out of touch and defending corporate welfare for some of the world's most successful companies."
