WASHINGTON — Today, Heritage Action, a conservative organization with two million grassroots activists nationwide, released a statement from Executive Director Jessica Anderson following the Senate vote to fund the government.
“We cannot lose sight of the fact that Democratic leaders are moving forward on an omnibus spending package. Conservatives in Congress must aggressively work against any omnibus and instead pass a long-term continuing resolution.
If Democrats have their way, a bloated omnibus bill will pass, which will include left-wing policy priorities, roll back Trump-era gains, and raise spending levels. While CRs are not ideal, an omnibus would be far worse for the health of our economy.”
