WASHINGTON – Heritage Action, a conservative grassroots organization with two million grassroots activists, including thousands of Hoosiers, released the following statement from Executive Director Jessica Anderson commending the Indiana General Assembly and Governor Eric Holcomb for passing and enacting HB 1334, legislation that strengthens election integrity by requiring voter ID for absentee ballots.
“Hoosiers need to be able to trust their voices will be heard at the ballot box. By enacting HB 1334, Indiana will implement common-sense election integrity measures, like voter ID for absentee ballots, that will ensure it is easy to vote and hard to cheat in the Hoosier State. Especially as partisan interests and activists continue their attempts to subvert and influence the election process, HB 1334 marks an important victory in the ongoing fight for election integrity.
Heritage Action commends the Indiana General Assembly for strengthening election integrity by passing HB 1334, and thanks Rep. Timothy Wesco for sponsoring this common-sense legislation. We look forward to working alongside grassroots Americans to continue the nationwide momentum to strengthen the security and integrity of our elections.”
