WASHINGTON – Heritage Action, a conservative grassroots organization with two million grassroots activists, including thousands of Nebraskans, released the following statement from Executive Director Jessica Anderson commending Governor Jim Pillen’s signing of LB 574, legislation that defends the lives of unborn babies from 12-weeks’ gestation, when they can feel pain, and protects children from dangerous cross-sex hormones and experimental surgeries that remove or alter healthy body parts.
“Nebraska has made historic strides in protecting women and children against the irreversible and lifelong harms of abortion, dangerous cross-sex hormones, and experimental surgeries that remove healthy body parts. Governor Jim Pillen’s signing of LB 574 scored a great win for the Cornhusker State over the Left’s push of radical gender ideology and abortion. LB 574 defends the lives of unborn babies from 12-weeks’ gestation, when they can feel pain, and protects children from dangerous cross-sex hormones and experimental surgeries.
