“18 Republican Senators and 9 Republican House members joined the Democratic Party to fund another year of the Biden-Schumer-Pelosi agenda with a $1.85 trillion lame-duck spending package. This unprecedented spending package marks the first time Congress passed a lame-duck omnibus spending package after voters elected new leadership in the House. Aside from raising top line spending numbers, this legislation does not reduce inflation, secure the border, or help American families and businesses. as a vote to abandon common-sense conservative values and a vote to shift a burden to the American people that they do not deserve to carry.
Thank you to conservatives in Congress and grassroots Americans across who fought against this package and worked towards a continuing resolution into the first quarter of 2023. The next Congress, with new conservative leadership in the House, must turn the tide and use every tool available to expose the implications of the policies the Left funded in this omnibus spending package.”
