WASHINGTON – Heritage Action, a conservative grassroots organization with two million grassroots activists, including thousands of Iowans, released the following statement from Executive Director Jessica Anderson commending the Iowa State Legislature and Governor Kim Reynolds for passing and signing H.F. 68, an innovative education freedom bill that would expand opportunity for families across the state.

“Iowa parents know they are better advocates for their children than failing school systems. By enacting H.F. 68, Iowa has expanded education freedom and given families more options to customize their children’s education. Starting in July, families all over the Hawkeye State will become eligible for state-funded Education Savings Accounts that will give them extensive educational resources they could use to fit their children’s needs.

Heritage Action thanks the Iowa Legislature for passing H.F. 68, and commends Governor Kim Reynolds for signing the bill into law. Thanks to their hard work and ambitious approach, Iowa students will have what they need to succeed.”
