Heritage Action will Score Vote-A-Rama Amendments

Washington—This afternoon, the Senate began consideration of the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget Resolution (H. Con. Res. 71). Heritage Action views this particular budget, which contains reconciliation instructions for a $1.5 trillion revenue reduction, as a critical step forward in the decades-long effort to reform our nation's stagnant and convoluted tax code. Multiple key votes are possible throughout that process, and because the rules governing the Senate's budget consideration are complex, amendment votes often occur without notice.
