WASHINGTON—Heritage Action, a conservative grassroots organization with two million activists nationwide, announced this week an ongoing strategic effort to register enough voters in key swing states to give conservative candidates the electoral edge ahead of the election in November.
The multimillion-dollar, data-driven campaign will engage likely conservative voters in Georgia and Arizona by highlighting some of Americans’ top concerns with the current administration, including the skyrocketing cost of living and uncontrollable illegal immigration.
Heritage Action President Dr. Kevin Roberts released the following statement while announcing the effort:
“Joe Biden made it to the White House by a historically small margin in 2020. After he opened our borders, destroyed our economy through overspending and inflation, and invited conflict around the globe with failed foreign policy, voters are eager to fire him for good.
“Conservatives know exactly what we need to do to win in November and take our country back. Heritage Action’s strategic voter registration campaign is finding and equipping the voters needed to ensure conservative majorities in must-win states across the country.”
In 2020, President Joe Biden won Georgia by less than 12,000 votes and took Arizona by less than 11,000 votes. Nationwide, Biden’s electoral college victory was secured by only 44,000 votes in three states, underscoring the potential outcome-changing power of Heritage Action’s targeted voter registration and turnout effort in those states.
Heritage Action Executive Vice President Ryan Walker explained the strategy:
“While polls show the list of tossup states growing rapidly as President Biden faces serious questions about his mental capacity to govern, we know Arizona and Georgia remain key battlegrounds that are 100% winnable for conservatives.
“The Biden administration’s wasteful government spending and deadly border crisis are producing terrible side effects for Americans every single day. By sharing those stories with voters in Georgia and Arizona, we will activate and register Americans who are motivated to vote for change in November.”
First reported by Fox News, Heritage Action’s voter outreach is expected to produce tens of thousands of new registered voters in Arizona and Georgia, two states crucial to winning the Electoral College. Localized stories will drive digital advertising with compelling messaging to convert registrants. The campaign will follow up with door-to-door engagement, fully managed text message conversations, and live phone conversations to ensure success.
Heritage Action is committed to using this new voter registration campaign, existing messaging and outreach infrastructure, and a powerful nationwide network of more than two million grassroots activists to drive support for conservative policies across the country this November.
