Today, former Congressman Ron DeSantis was sworn in as the 46th Governor of Florida.

The election of Ron DeSantis to the Florida governorship is a historic achievement for the state of Florida and the American people. Governor DeSantis is a champion of conservative values and was a key ally for our policy agenda throughout his entire time in Congress. He is a leader in the fight to promote conservative public policies based on the Heritage Foundation principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense. He is also a champion for Florida taxpayers.
There is no doubt that Governor DeSantis will bring the same passion to Tallahassee that he brought to Washington, D.C.
