Heritage Action Announces Six-Figure Digital Ad Campaign Opposing “Build Back Better”

Press Releases · Jul 26, 2022

WASHINGTON – Today, Heritage Action, a conservative grassroots organization with two million grassroots activists released a statement from Executive Director Jessica Anderson announcing the start of a six-figure digital and grassroots campaign opposing the Left’s newest iteration of their “Build Back Better” legislation.

The latest iteration of Build Back Broke is nothing more than a weak attempt by the Left to save face in an election year, but it will have serious inflationary consequences for years to come. To fight back, Heritage Action is announcing a six-figure digital and grassroots campaign in Georgia, West Virginia, Nevada, New Jersey, Maine, and Texas calling on key members of both the U.S. Senate and House to oppose this legislation and put our economic interests ahead of their individual political interests.

American families and businesses are relying on Congress to restore our economy through deregulation, cutting spending, and getting the national debt under control. The last things the American people need at a time of historic inflation and ahead of a potential recession are burdensome price controls and more government spending.

BACKGROUND:

  • The digital ad campaign and grassroots outreach comes as the U.S. Senate attempts to move forward with a new version of their “Build Back Better” legislation. As inflation surpasses 9%, this legislation recklessly spends more money and imposes dangerous price controls on certain prescription drugs.

  • The ad campaign focuses primarily on U.S. Senators Raphael Warnock, Jon Ossoff, Joe Manchin, and Catherine Cortez Mastro, and U.S. Representatives Mikie Sherrill, Tom Malinowski, Jared Golden, and Henry Cuellar. The campaign will be a $200,000 plus ad buy.
