Washington - Today, Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA) and 42 of his colleagues introduced a year-end spending bill that included the Defund Obamacare Act of 2013, which would defund the controversial and unworkable law in its entirety. Heritage Action released the following statement from chief executive officer Michael A. Needham:
"By introducing a bill that funds the government but defunds Obamacare, Rep. Graves and his colleagues are stepping up to fill a critical void in the House. Congress must act now if we are to prevent the damage that will be caused by the implementation of Obamacare. Already, jobs are being lost, hours cut and insurance lost. There is absolutely no doubt the law has failed and cannot be salvaged. We encourage all members to support the Graves bill."
