WASHINGTON — Today, Heritage Action, a conservative grassroots organization with two million grassroots activists, including thousands of Arkansans, released a statement from Janae Stracke, Vice President of Field Operations, applauding the House for passing SB 294, legislation which significantly expands school choice in Arkansas.
“Arkansas’ LEARNS Act is a huge step forward for school choice in Arkansas and continues an important trend across the nation. The establishment of the Arkansas Children’s Educational Freedom Account Program would ultimately allow every family in the state to join the ESA program and ensure each of their children can attend the education institution of their choice.
For too long, American children have been forced into a one-size-fits-all education system. Now, Arkansas can return power to parents to make the educational choices they know are right for their kids. Senator Breanne Davis and Representative Keith Brooks, who have led the charge in the General Assembly, are heroes to parents and students across the Natural State. Arkansans applaud this legislative leadership and thank Governor Sanders for making education freedom a priority in Arkansas.”
