"YES" on Cut, Cap, and Balance
This week, the House will vote on H.R. 2560, the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act, which would cut federal spending immediately, place a statutory cap on federal spending and require the passage of a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution before increasing the nation's debt ceiling. Heritage Action seeks to drive down federal spending and borrowing while protecting America and not raising taxes. Cut, Cap, and Balance is the only proposal being discussed around the debt limit that moves in this direction.
Heritage Action supports H.R. 2560 and will include it as a key vote in our scorecard.
