The Senate has passed the U.S. Innovation and Competition Act (S. 1260).
The House has passed the America Competes Act (H.R. 4521), but a better name is the "America Concedes Act" – because that's what it does.
Via conference committee, the two chambers will try to work out a compromise between their two bills, after which, both the House and Senate would hold another vote.
