Support President Trump’s Recissions Package

I am calling to urge [SENATOR] to support President Trump’s rescissions package, to rescind funding for USAID and other woke and wasteful foreign aid programs, as well as the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which funds NPR and PBS, by the July 18th legal deadline.

Using the Impoundment Control Act to pass rescissions is an important way for Congress to work with the Trump administration to cut wasteful spending.

USAID has wasted billions of dollars on an international Green New Deal agenda and administering radical indoctrination programs, which undermine our national standing around the world.

Likewise, Americans should not be forced to finance networks such as NPR and PBS, which are funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and consistently exhibit a left-wing bias rather than impartial journalism.

Congress maintains the constitutional power of the purse — yet our nation is approaching $37 trillion in debt and is racing towards financial ruin.

The White House Office of Management and Budget has compiled a reasonable start toward fixing our national debt and deficit that Congress must act on immediately.

Future generations of Americans are depending on us. It’s critical that Congress use this opportunity to restore fiscal sanity.
