52% of Americans Favor Repeal of Obamacare

According to the latest Rasmussen report, a majority of Americans still want President Obama’s government takeover of healthcare repealed. Fifty-two percent of likely voters favor repeal, including 39% who strongly favor repeal. Compared to just 30% who strongly oppose repeal, we see a continuing trend of Americans who want this law repealed and who think it will hurt our economy more than it will help.

Tonight, President Obama will deliver his State of the Union address. While out campaigning, he rarely – if ever – mentions Obamacare. Will tonight be any different? Will he tout this law as having fulfilled all the promises he claimed it would? Or will he continue to run from this law because he knows that Americans don’t want it and it will hurt him in the election.

  1. It’s not Obama care. It’s Congress/Senate care. The bill has little to do with Obama’s original plan. The current plan was crafted with late night back room meetings and deals with the very people that are killing Americans by withholding paid for services by invoking red tape and automatic denials. So call it what it is. And btw I’m not a liberal, I’m a libertarian who happens to also be a disabled Vietnam veteran.
