Heritage Action’s CEO on Heritage in Focus

This week, Heritage Action’s CEO Michael Needham discusses the ongoing debt limit negotiations with Heritage in Focus host David Weinberger. When speaking about the President’s insistence on tax hikes, Mr. Needham stated simply:

“Here’s the facts: The House of Representatives is the only body in Washington that has done its job. In April it passed a budget, the Ryan budget, it was a bold budget, that starts to save the entitlement programs, save Medicare for future generations, it starts to control spending it puts real restraint on Washington which we haven’t seen in some time. The House of Representatives last week passed the Cut, Cap, and Balance act which would also cut spending, cap spending over the next 10 years and put in a balanced budget amendment which is what we need to force future Congress’ to behave responsibly. The senate and the president have said that all of those are dead on arrival.”

The crumbling U.S. economy is putting an
extraordinary amount of financial stress on American families. For many Americans, “flat broke”
    has become a permanent condition.

I know that by taking every single penny from
everyone in the United States that it still would not be enough to pay off the
national debt. Today, the debt of the federal government exceeds (Based on an
estimated population of the United States is 320,660,830) each citizen’s share
of this debt is $56,642.39 per household, and it is getting worse with each
passing year, no matter who we have elected to go to Washington.

To provide cover while history is re-rewritten,
erased from curriculums and/or forgotten, with every dying veteran, the socialist
propaganda spread by the Military-Industrial-Media-Complex promotes the obvious
lie that, the top 1% of Americans could paid it off, if they paid their fair
share, a little bit at a time. That generations of Americans could eventually
pay it all off, as we all see, isn’t going to work either.

Measured by net worth, rather than income, the top
1% started at $6.9m in 2009, according to the Federal Reserve, this down 23%
from 2007. It Is Mathematically Impossible To Pay Off All Of Our Debt. It has
been projected that “mandatory” federal spending, called investments in all political
speeches, on programs such as Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare plus
interest on the national debt will exceed total federal revenue by the year
2025. That is before a single dollar is
spent on the U.S. military, homeland security, paying federal workers or
    building any roads and bridges.

So no, we aren’t going to be “paying down” our debt
any time in the foreseeable future. And
of course it isn’t just our Outstanding Public Debt as of 26 May 2015 at
    07:37:58 PM GMT is: $ 1 8 , 1 6 2 , 9 9 5 , 9 5 7 , 2 6 9 . 2 5 trillion dollars.

Again, overall, Americans are a total of 58
trillion dollars in debt. 35 years ago,
that number was sitting at just 4.3 trillion dollars. There is no way in the world that all of that
    debt can ever be repaid.

The only thing that we can hope for now is for this
debt bubble to last for as long as possible before it finally explodes.

You know you live in a Country run by the American
Crony Political Party Cartel System if your government believes that the best
way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more of our
money. Therefore the one most important question that should asked, of every
    viable presidential candidate should be:

In light of the United States Constitution Official
Oath of Office, our countries’ history, recent current events, experiences and present
circumstances in relation to the Financial Report of the United States
Government – 2014, as related to government revenue, taxes as in “monetary
and fiscal policies and all of your American constituent future hopes and dreams…
what is the wise thing for you to do,
when taking a vote, supporting or opposing the House and Senate Budgets, in
order for you to be seen as not belonging to either party of the Crony
Political Party Cartels System, now in control of Washington? We need to stop
spending to prospectively and realistically become responsible for reversing
the Little By by Little INVESTMENT Bit that has existed over the years.

“The truth sets us free when a critical mass of
humans acknowledges it without judgment and story, and cooperates, to
peacefully empower the end of deception and harm.” [Doreen]

    ¡Viva la Constitución!
