Sunday Show Preview – Role of the Tea Party

The rise of conservatism, as personified by the Tea Party, is on the agenda.  The hosts will ask about spending, the size of government and the deficit.

Key things to watch this week: how much money will be cut in the continuing resolution?

On ABC’s “This Week,” former Speaker Newt Gingrich will be the featured guest, and then Ron Reagan, Michael Reagan and Patti Davis assess their father’s legacy and his lasting impact on politics.

On CBS’s “Face the Nation,” the new White House Chief of Staff William Daily will offer his first television interview since joining the administration.

On FOX’s “Fox News Sunday,” Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) is expected to respond to the President’s State of the Union Address and discuss priorities for this term, health care reform and spending in this his first Sunday show appearance.

On NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will give an exclusive interview in response to the President’s State of the Union address, health care, the economy, debt and working with the Tea Party members on spending issues.
