COVID-19 saw the worst fraud in American history. We lost billions to fraudsters and welfare scammers while the Biden administration did nothing to stop it.
Under President Trump, fiscal responsibility is making a comeback. Quietly through administrative action and publicly through the White House Anti-Fraud Taskforce led by Vice President Vance, this administration is eliminating fraud and wasteful spending to put America back on track.
But President Trump won't remain in office forever. If a Democrat takes office, our nation must be prepared. Permanently codifying the Trump administration’s anti-fraud agenda will prevent Somali "learing centers" and other fraudulent childcare business from receiving a taxpayer-funded check.
The Stop Child Care Scams Act (H.R.7726) would ensure accountability for childcare services funded by the government. A Senate version of the bill has been introduced after the initial version passed the House. The Stop Child Care Scams Act (S.4788), introduced by Sen. Ashley Moody (R-FL), takes these same steps and requires commonsense reporting and safeguards by both childcare providers and federal childcare assistance programs to improve oversight of taxpayer funds.
Children, families, and communities all suffer when federal childcare programs are scammed. Not to mention the American taxpayer!
