WASHINGTON - Heritage Action, a conservative grassroots organization with over 2.5 million grassroots activists nationwide, including thousands of North Carolinians, strongly urges the North Carolina House to pass HB 560, the Parent’s Protection Act. This legislation would ensure that parents, adoptive parents, and foster parents are not targeted with charges of abuse for raising their children according to their biological sex.
Heritage Action Vice President Janae Stracke released the following statement in support of HB 560:
“Heritage Action urges the North Carolina House to swiftly pass the Parent’s Protection Act – a critical piece of legislation that allows parents to raise children in a way consistent with their biological sex and to not be discriminated against for doing so.
This commonsense legislation will protect North Carolina families and their children from the woke gender ideology imposed by the left on our children. No parent should ever be accused of abuse because they refuse to impose irreversible, experimental hormones and surgeries on their children. It is never abuse to raise a girl as a girl or a boy as a boy.
We strongly urge lawmakers to stand with Tar Heel State families in protecting and defending innocent children.”
