Heritage Action Targets Key Virginia Races, Focuses on Protecting State from Extreme Leftists

Press Releases · Oct 14, 2025

WASHINGTON—Heritage Action announced a major effort to take back the Virginia House of Delegates by targeting four key districts that will determine the balance of power in Richmond. The organization is investing significant resources to flip Districts 65 (supporting Republican challenger Sean Steinway), 84 (supporting Republican challenger Felisha Storm), and 97 (supporting Republican challenger Timothy Anderson) from far-Left candidates backed by national progressive groups. The group is also supporting District 89 Republican Delegate Mike Lamonea in advertising and targeted voter outreach.

Heritage Action Executive Vice President Tiffany Justice explained the importance of the effort:

“Virginia is the frontline of the fight for America’s future. The only way to stop the Left’s radical takeover is to win elections. That starts by flipping key seats in Virginia and standing firm for faith, family, and freedom.”

The Democrat nominee for attorney general, Jay Jones, has become the latest example of how extreme the left has become in Virginia politics. Heritage Action says Jones’ record and rhetoric make him completely wrong for Virginia.

Justice is underscoring the importance of winning back Virginia from extremists like Jay Jones and his allies in the House of Delegates, who continue to push radical policies that weaken law enforcement, undermine parental rights, and endanger children.

“Wishing a political opponent’s children to die in their arms is sickening. What Jay Jones said is an immediate disqualification for any office, especially attorney general. Saying you want to ‘piss on the graves’ of someone in another party is gross. His apology is fake. He is a career politician and not a prosecutor. He is not serious about law and order, period,”

said Justice.

As part of its Virginia Battle Plan 2025, Heritage Action is driving a statewide campaign to expose candidates who have embraced the far-left agenda. For example, in District 65, where Delegate Joshua Cole is being held accountable for supporting legislation that forced Virginia schools to allow boys in girls bathrooms. The organization’s message is clear. Protect our daughters. Do not re-elect Joshua Cole.

Heritage Action’s targeted voter education efforts also focus on Districts 84 and 97, where radical Democrats have consistently voted against parents and public safety, and District 89, a must-win defense seat critical to maintaining conservative control.

Heritage Action’s investment includes on-the-ground grassroots operations, data-driven voter contact, and digital engagement across all four districts. The organization is mobilizing citizens to turn out, vote their values, and reject the extremism that has defined Virginia’s recent political landscape.

Heritage Action is fighting crime more than just playing politics. Tiffany Justice says,

“I hope you will join us at Heritage Action and work against Jay Jones and the other woke candidates running with him in the House of Delegates.”
