Washington - Following Rep. Jason Chaffetz's (R-UT) appearance on Fox News Sunday, Heritage Action released the following statement from communications director Dan Holler:
"Asked about his willingness to defend the 2011 budget caps this morning on Fox News Sunday, Congressman Chaffetz gave a vague commitment to cutting the deficit before talking about areas where he wants the federal government to spend more money. Americans deserve leadership that fights to preserve and enhance spending controls. Heritage Action urges all candidates for Speaker to articulate a plan to get America on a path to balance."
