Heritage Action Releases Television Ads for Nine Targeted Districts in the 2018 Midterm Election

Press Releases · Oct 10, 2018

Washington—Today Heritage Action for America began its first television ad buy of the 2018 midterm elections. This $1.1 million ad buy will run in 9 congressional districts across the country. Heritage Action will help secure the conservative vote with a 4-week ad campaign on Fox News Channel in all 9 districts and target swing voters in three critical broadcast DMAs.

Heritage Action released the following statement from Executive Director Tim Chapman:

This October, Heritage Action is making a major investment in 9 key congressional races in an effort to invigorate conservative voters and protect the Republican majority in Congress. Our organization’s effort will give conservatives in Congress the support they need in their district for the final weeks of the 2018 midterm elections. Along with our grassroots efforts across the country, this competitive ad buy will help fulfill our core mission of enacting conservative policy into law.

Heritage Action’s message to voters highlights the larger paychecks they are seeing today as a result of last year’s historic Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and how out of step democrats are with the American people when it comes to these savings. According to research conducted and published by The Heritage Foundation, the average American couple with two children will keep an extra $2,917 of their paycheck in 2018 and benefit from a $44,697 increase in take-home pay over the next ten years. Americans cannot afford a return to liberal control of Congress.

Here is the complete list of districts Heritage Action will be targeting:

  • KY-06 — Andy Barr
  • NC-09 — Mark Harris
  • NC-13 — Ted Budd
  • NJ-11 — Jay Webber
