WASHINGTON – Heritage Action, a conservative grassroots organization with 2.5 million grassroots activists nationwide, including thousands of New Hampshirites, praises the signing of SB 295, legislation that expands eligibility for Education Freedom Accounts (EFAs) within the State of New Hampshire, granting educational freedom to families.
Heritage Action New Hampshire State Director Corey Kendig released the following statement in support of SB 295:
“SB 295 is a monumental win for New Hampshirites. New Hampshire was one of the first to utilize EFAs to make education choice possible for families, spearheading a movement among states. With the signing of this legislation, New Hampshire is expanding eligibility for educational freedom to thousands more students. Heritage Action applauds New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte and the New Hampshire General Court for their renewed commitment to educational freedom in the Live Free or Die State.”
Heritage Foundation Research Fellow Jason Bedrick issued the following statement in support of SB 295:
“The education choice revolution is showing no signs of slowing. By expanding eligibility for their trailblazing Education Freedom Accounts to all K-12 students, New Hampshire is now the 17th state to embrace the pathway to universal education choice. Families in the Live Free or Die State can use their EFAs to cover private school tuition, homeschooling expenses, tutoring, online learning, and other educational services. Now all Granite State families will have the freedom and flexibility to choose the learning environments that align with their values and customize their child’s education.”
