Washington—This morning, Heritage Action for America announced Tim Chapman will serve as the organization’s new executive director, effective immediately. In that capacity, Chapman will be responsible for setting the strategy and vision of Heritage Action, ensuring it advances the mission of The Heritage Foundation.
Heritage Foundation President Kay Coles James issued the following statement:
I could not be happier that Tim Chapman will serve as Heritage Action’s executive director. Tim and I enjoy an excellent working relationship, and I know his positive energy and deep expertise will be of great value to the organization as it works to advance the mission and vision of The Heritage Foundation.
Heritage Action Executive Director Tim Chapman issued the following statement:

Going forward, Heritage Action will use all the tools at its disposal to deliver on that promise. The stakes are too high to do anything else.
Prior to serving as Heritage Action’s chief operating officer, Chapman served as chief of staff to Heritage Foundation President Ed J. Feulner, Ph.D. In this position, he advised Dr. Feulner on public policy matters and activities of the conservative movement. He also managed Dr. Feulner’s office staff and Heritage’s day-to-day operations. Chapman also held multiple positions in the United States Senate.
