Press Releases · Jul 9, 2025

WASHINGTON - Heritage Action, a conservative grassroots organization with over 2.5 million grassroots supporters nationwide, released the following statement from Heritage Action Missouri State Director Chandra Hendren in support of SB 152, Missouri's foreign funding bill which bans foreign interference in state ballot campaigns:

“Heritage Action remains committed to ensuring the voices of American citizens are heard–not those of foreign billionaires and bureaucrats. Missouri elections belong to Missourians, and this bill is a pivotal safeguard to protect state elections from outside interference. In signing SB 152, Missouri is joining eight other states who have banned foreign funding from state elections this year.
Heritage Action remains committed to electoral transparency at both the state and national level. We applaud Missouri and Governor Mike Kehoe for taking direct action to eliminate foreign election meddling.”

Missouri currently ranks 9th out of 51 on the Heritage Foundation’s Election Integrity Scorecard.
