Heritage Action Announces $550,000 Defund Obamacare Ad Campaign

Press Releases · Aug 18, 2013

Washington - Today, Heritage Action for America announced a $550,000 "Defund Obamacare" ad campaign. The online campaign, which will run in 100 Republican-controlled districts, will encourage House Republicans to support conservative efforts to stop Obamacare by defunding the entire law.

"The American people may have been locked out of the legislative process that gave us Obamacare, but they will be the force behind stopping this unworkable, unaffordable law. Congress should seize the moment and defund the entire law," said Heritage Action CEO Michael A. Needham.

The launch of the ad campaign coincides with Heritage Action's Defund Obamacare Townhall Tour. Last week, Heritage Action released a poll showing a move to defund Obamacare would not jeopardize the Republicans' House majority.

Below is the list of the 100 House Republicans who have not signed onto a letter by Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) urging leadership to take the steps necessary to defund Obamacare in its entirety, including on a year-end funding bill like a continuation resolution (CR).
