Heritage Action Announces $400,000 Obamacare Ad Campaign

Press Releases · Oct 2, 2013

Washington - Today, Heritage Action for America announced a $400,000 "Defund Obamacare" ad campaign. The digital campaign targets Mark Begich (Alaska), Mark Pryor (Arkansas), Mary Landrieu (Louisiana) and Kay Hagan (North Carolina). Heritage Action released the following statement from chief executive officer Michael A. Needham:

"Three days into the Democrats' government shutdown, Senators Begich, Pryor, Landrieu and Hagan have a decision to make: stand with President Obama to protect a failed law that is hurting the country or reject partisan politics to protect the people they're supposed to represent.
"Led by Harry Reid, they are actively opposing bills and policies they support in order to prolong the shutdown. This cynical political strategy may play well with their Washington-based consultants, but it does nothing to stop this unworkable, unaffordable law."
