WASHINGTON – Heritage Action, a conservative grassroots organization with two million grassroots activists, including thousands of Utahns, released the following statement from Executive Director Jessica Anderson commending the Utah State Legislature for passing H.B. 215, legislation that gives Utah’s students and families access to scholarships for alternative education options.
“Thanks to the Utah State Legislature, H.B. 215 is heading to Governor Cox’s desk for signature. When enacted, this legislation will give Utah parents the opportunities and tools necessary to ensure their children have access to the education options that best fit their needs. By creating a scholarship program, H.B. 215 would give families of all backgrounds the freedom to make the decisions that will help their children succeed academically.
Heritage Action applauds the Utah State Legislature for their swift consideration and approval of H.B. 215. We look forward to Governor Cox signing H.B. 215 into law and continuing the momentum for education freedom and parental rights in the Beehive State.”
