"NO" on McConnell Amendment to Save the Export-Import Bank

On Sunday, the Senate will vote on an amendment to the Developing a Reliable and Innovative Vision for the Economy (DRIVE) Act (H.R. 22). The amendment, offered by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), would resurrect the now-expired Export-Import Bank. Earlier this week, the bank's largest customer, Boeing, said "There are multiple commercial credit sources available today" and the absence of the bank "doesn't create risk" for the company.

Heritage Action opposes the McConnell Amendment and will include it as a key vote on our legislative scorecard.
