CO-SPONSORSHIP of the A-PLUS Act

In April, Senators Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) and John Cornyn (R-Texas) introduced the A-PLUS Act (S . 827). The legislation would allow states to opt out of the bureaucracy of No Child Left Behind and give them greater flexibility to decide what works best for their specific education needs.
