Help the Trump Administration Fight Fraud!

For too long, Americans have been frustrated by countless examples of blatant waste, fraud and abuse of taxpayer dollars. But now, the Trump administration is using their power to put a stop to it—and they need your support.

Through the efforts of the last few honest investigative journalists, DOGE, and the Trump administration, the American public now has a better understanding of the deep and expansive fraud that plagues our federal grants system. The federal government has been extremely vulnerable to the Left and foreign nations who have defrauded taxpayers billions of dollars.

Why, when fraud is so clearly being identified, has it been difficult to prevent? The answer is frustratingly simple: previous administrations have simply failed to use their power to enforce rules that deter fraud and hold those who abuse taxpayer dollars accountable. The federal government has the authority to provide grant funding, but previous administrations severely limited enforcement of who the government may deny, when it can deny funding, and even how it might suspend funding when fraud is detected. The ability, even, to verify the recipient of funding in the first place is loosely regulated and therefore left incredibly easy for bad actors to apply for grants sent to them for services that often are never fulfilled or don’t even exist. This steals from the citizens who actually need this funding and leaves the taxpayers inadvertently supporting these scams.

The White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is fighting back.

The OMB is proposing a new set of rules to restructure our nation’s inefficient funding system, restore authority to those who evaluate the grants, and, ultimately, putting power back in the hands of American taxpayers who voted for government efficiency.

This proposed rule is a whole-of-government approach and specifically targets the worst aspects of the current grants system–a product of decades of regulations meant to reject accountability in order to fund leftist cronies. These reforms include: requiring grant recipients submit through E-verify to ensure the funding do not go to illegal aliens, giving federal authorities greater detail in order to vet grantees and ensure money received goes to what the money what requested for, allowing for the removal of eligibility and denial of requests that were previously granted for a recurring basis (ex. 5-year grants can still be vetted for fraud and inefficacy, and therefore cut if needed), suspending awards given specifically to DEI and gender ideology-focused programs, and more.

COVID-19 funds were notorious for the worst amount of fraud in history. We must institute measures to prevent pandemic-era levels of fraud from ever happening again.
