Stop Stalling – Finish the Job With Reconciliation 3.0

We have made great progress toward restoring our nation following the disastrous Biden administration, but there is still important work to do.

While there are many wins to celebrate, President Trump has done most of the heavy lifting, and Congress needs to keep up. Midterms are coming, and Congress must heed the warnings of their constituents—empty promises won’t cut it. Republicans have unified control of the federal government. If ever there was a time for transformative legislation, it’s now. That’s where Reconciliation 3.0 comes in.

We need a Reconciliation 3.0 budget package that:

  • Restores affordability by addressing the root causes of rising costs – not masking them with more spending
  • Re-establishes accountability by eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse throughout the federal government
  • Expands work opportunities by creating the conditions for families, workers, and businesses to flourish

Congress can achieve these goals by:

  • Increasing transparency by strengthening requirements for hospitals, insurers, and providers to publicly disclose the real costs of procedures, increasing competition that brings down healthcare prices for patients.
  • Closing loopholes on foreign money transfers to help keep American dollars circulating in our own economy.
  • Establishing newlywed starter trust accounts to promote financial security and family growth.

These policies are popular, and Congress has been given the entire roadmap. Reconciliation isn’t subject to the filibuster, so all it takes is effort from conservatives on the Hill to get it done.

President Trump’s legacy is on the line, and he knows it. Does Congress share that urgency?
