Codify Trump’s Secure Border Policies!

Americans waited eagerly for Congress to pass the Secure America Act and fund Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through the end of President Trump’s term. Its passage was a resounding victory, but policymakers need to do more to protect our nation’s borders.

Congress must now turn the Trump Administration’s strong border policies into permanent law before it is too late.

H.R. 9199, a bill introduced in the House by Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21), mirrors the Secure the Border Act of 2023 (H.R. 2), which House Republicans overwhelmingly supported last Congress. This critical bill would make Trump’s border policies permanent law.

Congressional Republicans must deliver on their promises and pass legislation to secure our borders and deport illegal immigrants.
