Americans Endorse the Nomination of Judge Barrett
Washington, DC—Heritage Action for America today released a new video, “Confirm Amy,” featuring grassroots activists showing support and enthusiasm for Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination for the Supreme Court.
Watch what Americans have to say about Judge Barrett's nomination:
To support Judge Barrett’s confirmation, Heritage Action has launched a “Confirm Amy” grassroots campaign to introduce Judge Barrett to our one million grassroots activists and over 20,000 Sentinel leaders and harness the unprecedented grassroots support for Judge Barrett.
“America’s grassroots have shown an unprecedented amount of support for Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination,” said Jessica Anderson, Executive Director of Heritage Action. “She is an inspiration to millions of Americans who have told us how important it is to them to see her confirmed immediately. They have seen her impeccable response to her confirmation hearings, her excellent credentials, and her ability to succeed as one of America’s top legal minds while working to raise a family. And they have one message for Washington: Confirm Amy.”
As part of the Confirm Amy campaign, Heritage Action Sentinels have made 1,000 calls per day since September 28th to Senators to urge a quick confirmation of Judge Barrett. Heritage Action has also sent three Confirm Amy mailers to nearly 300,000 households in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. In addition, Heritage Action has expanded swing voter outreach to include support and mobilization for Judge Barrett in the battleground states of NC, PA, IA and WI. This effort includes over 100 paid field staff organizing phone banks, door to door knocking, and texting to swing voters urging their support for Judge Barrett.
In Washington, Heritage Action organized a rally bringing together hundreds of activists to support Judge Barrett on her first day of confirmation hearings, as well as a press conference featuring Senators Blackburn, Cruz, Hawley and Lee and leaders of top conservative groups. In addition, Sentinels all across the country have attended “Women for Amy” bus tour stops and Jessica Anderson spoke at the March for All Women "I'm With Her" Rally in support of Judge Barrett on October 17.
