Ryan Walker has over a decade of experience advocating for conservative solutions to the most pressing policy issues both in Congress and in state capitols across the country. Walker joined Heritage Action in 2020 and most recently served as Vice President of Government Relations.
As executive vice president, Walker engages with Heritage Action’s network of two million grassroots Americans and 20,000 Sentinels. By working alongside grassroots Americans to engage directly with federal and state lawmakers, Heritage Action has effectively combined inside-the-beltway lobbying with outside-the-beltway grassroots pressure to advance the conservative principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.
Walker’s wealth of public policy knowledge draws from his nearly decade of experience working for several members of the U.S. House of Representatives, including as Deputy Chief of Staff for former Representative Mark Walker (R-N.C.). He also worked in state politics, having managed a successful state race in Maryland.
Walker is a graduate of North Carolina State University and the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.
