Now is the time to email your Senators so they know where you stand on the Second Amendment.

We are including the vote on S. 336, the Marketplace Fairness Act, in our legislative scorecard. Last week, we released an updated Key Vote alert, letting Congress know we continue to oppose the deceptively-named “Violence Against Women Act.” The bill has numerous specific flaws, but its basic premise is flawed: that federal agencies are better at prosecuting individual crimes than state authorities. Katherine has a great post outlining more about the serious failures of VAWA.
