Michael Needham, Heritage Action’s CEO, explains why we have State Directors: “For too long, Washington has ignored the voices of concerned citizens, Heritage Action will ensure that lawmakers in Washington represent all Americans, not special interests.” As we work to repeal Obamacare, stop runaway federal spending, and limit stifling regulations, conservative activists make us successful. Our state directors will recruit and organize those activists, positioning us for conservative policy victories.

Jessica Anderson, State Director

Mrs. Anderson comes to Heritage Action from the Civitas Institute in Raleigh, where she led their get-out-the-vote effort, campaign and new media training. Her efforts in North Carolina saw a wave of conservatives elected to the state house, which Republicans now control for the first time since 1898. She is a University of Florida graduate.

To help you learn the most effective ways to be an activist, Heritage Action for America NC is providing a series of two-night skills clinics around the state. As North Carolina conservatives, let’s meet and organize, communicate and strategize for 2012.
