Earlier this week, Members of Congress returned to Washington for a special legislative session. The reason? President Obama and Nancy Pelosi wanted to spend another $26 billion of your money. The excuse? Mismanaged states refused to correct their reckless spending habits. Who benefits? Unions, whose employees earn more and have more lavish benefits than their private-sector counterparts.

A $26 billion cash infusion to bailout unions and irresponsible states is unacceptable. It is no wonder just 1 out of every 5 Americans approve of Congress.
