Sorry Leftists, #SorryIsntGoodEnough, Obamacare Needs to Go
The Obamacare exchanges are Tweeting their apologies today for the exchanges that already aren’t working. #Sorry. Here’s the headline:
Here are some other headlines highlighting the failure of Obamacare health care exchanges on day 1… and this is just the beginning.
Tragically, if Washington doesn’t listen, things will only get worse. The glitches are nothing in comparison to massive amounts of damage Obamacare will do to health care in America in the future. Heritage explains:
Over the past several months, the media have focused on exchange implementation: “bumps and glitches,” defective software, inadequate personnel, or managerial mistakes. These are merely “process issues” endemic to central planning. Far more important is the substance of central planning: the frustration of personal choice and the inhibition of product innovation.
Obamacare consolidates health care decision making in the hands of government officials. When the major decision points are collapsed into one or two—in this case, Congress and the Secretary of HHS—the very words “choice” and “competition” become empty.
If course, the Left would rather ruin health care in America than give credence to the idea that Obamacare is a massive failure.
How many more error messages will it take for them to get with the program? Will they care when their constituents start to suffer identity theft because of the failed law?
Consumers can begin enrolling in Obamacare today, October 1, for healthcare coverage beginning on January 1, 2014, although consumers should expect glitches. Because of privacy and security weaknesses in the implementation of Obamacare, which could lead toidentity theft and other fraud, vigilant consumers should consider waiting as some state-run exchanges may not be ready for prime time.
What’s more frightening, consumers didn’t have to wait for the exchanges to open. Threats to their privacy – like scam artists posing as Navigators and Assisters to take advantage of people’s confusion with Obamacare — were already happening before the exchanges opened.
But bullies like Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) 13% — who not-so-fondly refers to Americans who want to get rid of Obamacare as “anarchists” — and Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) 10% don’t care about that. Yesterday, Schumer stubbornly stated:
The bottom line is very simple. You negotiate on this, they will up the ante for the debt limit.
For the leftist liberals, it’s all about saving face.
