Action Alert: Watch and Share “Mike Needham on Fox News”

On Wednesday, Heritage Action’s chief executive officer, Michael A. Needham explained that we are still keeping up the fight against Obamacare. Later in the day, Congress announced a plan that would reopen the government, raise the debt ceiling, but it would do nothing to stop Obamacare from harming Americans.

As Needham said:

“That does nothing to stop the American family that’s seeing insurance premiums go up by hundreds of dollars per month. There is a real problem out there that is afflicting the American people and Washington…may want to find a punt, but its nothing doing anything to address real problems.”

Heritage Action opposes any deal that funds the governments and but continues funding a law that is destroying the lives of millions of Americans. They cannot continue to be harmed by the President’s “signature” law. As long as Obamacare exists employers will continue to cut hours and halt hiring, the economy will not grow and health insurance premiums will continue to skyrocket for hard-working Americans.

That is why we will continue to fight against Obamacare.

  1. Rotten employers are conveniently merely doing what they had in mind anyway – cut employees and benefits to save money…why not push the blame on Obamacare…How transparent.

  2. Recent BLS data put the lie to the talking point that employers are converting full time employees to part time or hiring part time workers instead of full time. The data show the numbers and proportion of part time workers compared to full time is shrinking and has been shrinking over the past several years even while the ACA is in place.
