Amendments to the Energy and Water Appropriation Bill Vote Recap

This week, the House of Representatives voted on amendments to the Energy and Water Appropriations Bill (H.R. 5325). Heritage Action key voted three out of many good amendments: one that would have essentially eliminated the Office of Fossil Energy; another would have eliminated five wasteful and duplicative regional commissions; and the third would have blocked all future loan guarantees under section 1703. The key voted amendments are listed below, along with a breakdown of how Republicans and Democrats voted on each amendment.
