55% of Americans Support Repeal of Obamacare

The latest Rasmussen report shows that a majority of Americans continue, week after week, to oppose President Obama’s government takeover of the healthcare industry. Rasmussen has been polling likely voters ever since the law was passed, and only one week has the poll shown less than half of Americans supporting repeal. Even Gallup is now showing that 47% of those polled want the law repealed, compared to 42% who want to keep it in place.

Even 1 in 5 Democrats want to repeal the law.

Americans see that this law has not, and will not do what it promised. 50% believe costs will rise under Obamacare, and they’re right. Healthcare costs are still rising, even though Obamacare was supposed to lower costs. Premiums are going up, even though Obamacare was supposed to make health insurance more affordable.

Americans were forced to spend over $1 trillion to implement this new law, and for what? Higher taxes, higher premiums, higher costs and a mandate to spend more money to purchase expensive insurance you may not need? Talk about government waste.
