54% of Americans Support Repeal of Obamacare

A new survey on Rasmussen shows that 54% of Americans continue to support the repeal of Obamacare – the President’s landmark takeover of the health care industry. This percentage is unchanged from the last survey.

This comes after reports from Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius that the CLASS Act is not a viable long-term care solution. The program could not “be self-sustaining, financially sound for 75 years or affordable to consumers.” Sounds like a lot of other entitlement programs on the books right now.

This comes as yet another blow to Obamacare, which was famously passed so we could find out what was in it. Yet time and again, what is in the bill is not what we want. Conservatives must not rest until Obamacare is fully repealed.

  1. Please ask your elected representative if Nancy Pelosi was able to include in one of Obama’s stimulus packages(believe it is the first one), the law that you will pay a 3% percent sales tax on the sale of your home whether you have a gain or loss on the transaction. Secondly, I would like to know how Nancy, increased her net worth from approximately 28% to 58% percent to 62% in the last 12 to 18 months. Ask about the Capps provisions and the 15 person committee that will ultimately decide how much care you will receive to help you get wel or to keep you from dying if you are in the position to need medical treatment. Think you will find these answers to be startling about your health care coverage available to help you in time of need. Another related but unrelated thing that I would like to include for those that are on social security and use medicare, Obama proposed a type of COLA formula that will, if at all allow you to get a cost of living adjustment in your income. Great idea to review the give away programs they have put into place to garner the voting blocks they wanted to help them get reelected. Stop the programs that are put in place to get the vote, instead determine if the program has real purpose to help the people, best bet that they could eliminate at least 60% of the programs based on one simple criteria, do you really have the qualifications to qualify to be given this aid whether in money or other means. Explain the rational behind giving a woman more money for the more babies she has out of wedlock. Do you think this is fair to the people who are limiting the size of their family because they realize that they cannot afford to have another child to take care of because they just can’t afford the expense. There are other similar programs in place that should be stopped. The politicians put theses programs in place but never do anything to find out if the person even meets basic qualification guidelines on a continuing basis. It was put on the back burner for the time being(first proposed several months ago), but may now find its way into helping to find the 1.2 trillion debt reduction package being formulated by the gang of 6. I find one thing really ironic, they are out to reduce outlay and to try to rein in spending, but have you heard them say the first word about reducing their salary, the unreal retirement amount that they will receive for the rest of their life and the wonderful health insurance coverage package they will receive until they die. I think the public should bring this up and reduce immensely the salary and perks they receive to approach the amount that the salary, wage earner have when they retire. I also think this should be made retroactive for at least the past 20 years, would really help in reaching the debt cutting they are trying to reach. Term limit time has come, if you disagree then explain to the people of the nation, who led them to dire financial circumstances that now face the United States of America.
