54% of Americans Support Repeal of Obamacare

A recent Rasmussen survey shows that more than half of the country still wants to repeal Obamacare. It just goes to show how unpopular the government’s takeover of our health care system is.

The percentage of Americans who favor repeal has remained above 50% since the law was passed last March (except for one week). 52% also believe that the law will be bad for the country.

The fact that repeal support has remained so high for so long even when the issue is out of the news shows just how opposed the country is to the government taking over the healthcare industry.

  1. I never wanted Obamacare to begin with. I have never believed in government programs (i.e. Medicare, Medicaid etc). Let the free market run health care and let “the people” become more educated about the healthcare system. This country should be focused on healthcare delivery, outcomes, preventative care and education so we the consumer can take care of ourselves. I DO NOT WANT THE GOVERNMENT INVADING MY PRIVACY OR RUNNING MY HEALTHCARE PERIOD. My mothers oncologist is from Canada “top Oncologist”. She left Canada to come to the U.S. because she hated Canada’s healthcare system. Why do we want to go that direction. I never wanted it, I never do want it and I want it appealed.
