57% of Americans Support Repeal of Obamacare

This week, Rasmussen reports a jump in the number of Americans who want President Obama’s government takeover of healthcare law repealed. Last week, 54% wanted the law removed, and this week, 57% want it abolished.

Just 36% oppose repeal.

Another astounding number is the fact that now just 31% think the health law will actually be good for the country, the lowest number since the bill’s passage last year. It’s interesting to note that opposition to Obamacare remains high, and support is getting lower and lower, even while most of the country is currently focusing on the impending debt limit deal.

It’s just another sign that the American people understand how damaging Obamacare would be to the economy and their individual freedoms.

  1. This is not news. The numbers favoring and opposing repeal are about the same as they have been for the past year, and far from their highest levels last year.
