House Analysis:

The House is planning to hold a vote on the America Invents Act which has become known as the “Patent Reform” bill. This bill has become controversial due to the fact that it shifts appropriations power from Congress and into the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, allowing them to not only increase their own prices, but spend that revenue as well.

Senate Analysis:

The Senate will focus on reauthorization of the Economic Development Agency.  Numerous amendments have been offered to the bill including one to repeal tax incentives for ethanol subsidies and one that would repeal the Dodd-Frank bill.
